Sand Unity Ceremony

The Sand Unity Ceremony symbolizes the blending of your lives
and serves as a keepsake of your wonderful day on the coast.

You are welcome to select and bring your own sacred vessel or WHY KNOT can assist you with your selection from
our vast coastal resources of artist blown glass vessels. Contact us for available sizes and costs.
The table will be provided for use and looks gorgeous when adorned with an additional floral arrangement.

SAND UNITY CEREMONY
(Usually inserted before the exchanging of the rings)
(OFFICIANT) ________and ________ you are making a
commitment of your eternal love for one another. To symbolize the
joining of your lives together you will each take the sand from
beneath the other.
(Each of you take the sand upon which you are standing and hold it)
As you each hold your sand realize that this represents your
separate lives up until this moment; individual and unique. Now,
combine your sand together into your sacred vessel as also, you
join your futures together as one.
(Blend your sand together into your sacred vessel at the same
time, then stand as the Officiant continues to speak).
Place this sacred vessel in your home to remind you of the depth of
the devotion you pledged together on this day.

Unity Candle ceremony. Though a
flame may elude you with the
ocean breeze there is guaranteed
to be plenty of sand!
